On December 8th CASA hosted our annual Christmas party for all of our children in foster care in Sandoval County. Attended by over 130 people, we had a great day with our children, foster families, parents, CYFD workers, CASA volunteers, staff, and board of directors. It was so much fun to see the kids enjoy spaghetti lunch, make crafts, and most importantly, visit with Santa to tell him their Christmas wishes! The success of the day is due to the tremendous work by all of our community partners that contributed to make it special. Many, many thanks to Presbyterian Health Care for the amazing food, to Intel for providing the stockings for the children, Rio Rancho Civitan for the adorable centerpieces and delicious cake pops, Rio Rancho Fire Department for the stuffed animals and of course Santa's transport and visit! In addition, we want to thank our board of directors for serving the delicious food, and to all of the CYFD family of workers for their contributions to the party planning and venue preparation. Due to the generosity of all involved this event to celebrate Christmas for our kids was a wonderful success!!
See how we’re making a difference in our community.
