On December 8th CYFD Valencia and CASA got together to throw the annual Christmas party for all of our children in foster care in Valencia County. Attended by over 200 people, we had a great day with our children, foster families, CYFD workers, CASA volunteers, staff, and board of directors. It was so much fun to see the kids enjoy lunch, participate in a cake walk, and most importantly, visit with Santa to tell him their Christmas wishes! The success of the day is due to the tremendous work by all of our community partners that contributed to make it special. Many, many thanks to Buffalo Wild Wings, Dion's, and CASA for providing the delicious food, to Presbyterian Health Plan for providing over 250 stuffed stockings for the children, and of course, to Judge Smith for his turn as Santa Claus! Thank you to everyone for their hard work contributing to party planning and venue preparation. Due to the generosity of all involved this event to celebrate Christmas for our kids was a wonderful success!!
See how we’re making a difference in our community.
